On December 30, 2011, Global Pictures Studios and JR Galactic will roll out the red carpet for the 2nd Annual Michigan Film Gala to usher in the official “Return of Motown” celebration as the legacy that put Detroit on the map returns to it’s rightful home!
This event will present an exclusive night of dinner, panel discussions and dancing at the beautiful Charles H. Wright Museum with celebrity VIPs from the original Motown era, as well as the film, music, sports and fashion industries to celebrate Detroit in all it’s splendor!
In addition to producing the ultimate party with a purpose, a portion of the proceeds raised from the “Return of Motown” Pre-New Year’s Bash will be used to create the Global Pictures Studios Foundation to help create interactive programming and development for inner-city youth to showcase talent, express creativity and gain industry skill sets.
